Privacy policy

Privaris SA builds Platyn OS on the principle that your data stays with you. This page explains exactly what happens when you visit this website, which is deliberately little.

Cookies and trackers

This site sets no cookies. It runs no advertising pixels and loads nothing from third parties: fonts, images, scripts and analytics are all served from our own server in Switzerland. There is therefore nothing to ask your consent for, and no cookie banner.

We measure traffic with Umami, a self-hosted analytics tool that stores no cookie and nothing in your browser. It records page views, referrer and device type in aggregate, without profiles or identifiers, and it honours your browser's Do‑Not‑Track setting — if that is on, nothing about your visit is recorded.

When you use the contact form

We receive the email address you type, your subject, your message, the time, and the technical details of the request (IP address and browser string) — used only to answer you and to keep the form from being abused.

Server logs

Our web server writes an access log for security and troubleshooting: the IP address, the page requested, the time and the response status. It never contains the content of a form submission. The log rotates by size and is overwritten within days. The IP address attached to a contact form submission is stored with the submission itself, as described above, and deleted with it.

Who processes data for us

Both are bound by data processing agreements. No data leaves Switzerland or the EEA.

Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, and the GDPR where it applies, you may ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for correction or deletion, ask us to restrict processing, and object to it. Write to contact@privaris.com and we will answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, or to the supervisory authority where you live.

This policy covers this website only. Platyn OS itself keeps your data on hardware you own; what it does with that data is described in the product documentation.
